Microsoft Updates
Migrate your classic storage accounts to Azure Resource Manager
Due to their interdependence, Azure will retire classic storage accounts on 31 August 2024, along with Azure Cloud Services (classic). Users must migrate to Azure Resource Manager before this date to manage their resources effectively and take advantage of new features like simplified deployment and resource grouping. Classic account management operations won’t be possible post-retirement, but existing data will remain secure and intact.

Learn more about service retirements that may impact your resources in the Azure Retirement Workbook. Please note that retirements may not be visible in the workbook for up to two weeks after being announced.
Ensure your resources that interact with Azure services are using TLS 1.2 by 31 October 2024
Azure customers must ensure their resources interact with Azure services by using TLS 1.2 or later by 31 October 2024, as support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will end to enhance data encryption and security. While the current TLS versions are not vulnerable, TLS 1.2 provides better security features like perfect forward secrecy. No action is needed if resources already use TLS 1.2 exclusively; otherwise, transition from older TLS versions before the deadline to avoid service disruptions.
